Best Western launches Facebook booking capability

As part of Best Western International’s continued dedication to engaging with its customers via social media, the chain has unveiled a new booking capability that allows travellers to reserve hotel rooms on its Facebook page. The Facebook booking platform, built in tandem with mobile and multi-channel platform company, Usablenet, delivers Best Western’s private and secure hotel reservation system to Facebook’s more than 800 million active users. Best Western also launched a Best Western Rewards mobile site last year to allow the 13 million Best Western Rewards members to manage their profiles, review their balances and redeem points for travel and merchandise – all from their smartphones. The Best Western Rewards mobile site is a complement to the brand’s primary mobile site — http://www.BestWestern2Go.com — and the free “Best Western to Go”application for iPad, iPhone and Android.
