Beth Potter, Tourism Industry Association of Canada ‘parting ways’

In a message to Tourism Industry Association of Canada (TIAC) members and partners, TIAC Board Chair, Nina Kressler has advised that “Beth Potter and TIAC have parted ways.”

Kressler continues that the TIAC Board “is actively working to appoint interim leadership as soon as possible.”

Potter has been TIAC’s president and CEO since March of 2021 and before that she was the president and CEO of the Tourism Industry Association of Ontario for over 10 years.

“The Board will determine the best path forward for ensuring stability and continued success for the association,” writes Kressler, continuing: “We are committed to keeping you informed and will provide updates as soon as decisions are finalized.”

“We value your ongoing support and dedication to TIAC. Should you have any questions or concerns during this transition, please feel free to reach out to us directly,” Kressler adds, before concluding: “We wish Beth well in the future.”
