Above and Beyond Takes Flight
WestJet has unveiled a new platform celebrating Canadians who go above and beyond in their daily lives to inspire us. The true stories of people who make a difference in the lives of others will be featured on aboveandbeyond.ca.
“People who go above and beyond are inspiring,” said Lauri Feser, WestJet vice-president, Marketing. “They make a difference in the lives of everyone who crosses their path. As a company known for its caring culture – something that is built into our DNA – we want to share and celebrate these stories because these are the people who inspire us to be better at what we do every day.”
With new content being added regularly, the web site will showcase stories about people within and outside of WestJet who care about each other and their communities, and whose actions show that caring makes a world of difference. Readers will also have the chance to add their own inspirational stories.
“There are people who do things, often little things, that have a huge impact on the lives of others,” added Feser. “These acts of kindness, compassion and care sometimes go unnoticed in the hustle and bustle of daily life. This platform will gather those amazing stories and bring them forward as examples of people who care the way that we as WestJetters do.”
