It’s been a mild winter, with little rain, on the normally wet coast of Canada, but storm season stays are still on at the Long Beach Lodge near Tofino on Vancouver Island.
One way to cut costs on a visit is to show up alone. Single travellers get 40% off their room rates for stays any of the three types of lodge rooms. These include standard lodge rooms, those with partial oceanviews and deluxe beachfront rooms.
A two-night minimum stay is required, and rates start at $119 per night with the discount factored in. The offer is available until May 31.
