British Airways kicks off New Year with Europe sale
British Airways, together with partner American Airlines, is launching New Year sale offers to the UK and select European destinations. World Traveller economy roundtrip airfares begin at $224 between Toronto or Montreal and London. Fares between Vancouver or Calgary and London begin from $399. Fares are available for sale through Jan. 24. World Traveller fares are valid for travel Jan. 18 to March 31 and April 9 to May 17. Sixteen European cities are on sale including London, Paris, Athens, Vienna and Moscow. Sample roundtrip fares include Toronto/Edinburgh from $224, Montreal/Paris from $385, Vancouver/Vienna from $405 and Calgary/Rome from $431. World Traveller Plus, the airline’s premium economy class, is also on sale with fares from $524 between Toronto or Montreal and London. Weekend (Thursday-Sunday) surcharge applies at $50 each way. Fares do not include security, insurance and fuel surcharges, airport fees, Air Travellers Security Charges and taxes. Minimum stay of Saturday night is required and maximum stay is six months.
