BST operating private charter from London, Ont. to Nashville

BST Vacations (Blowes & Stewart Travel Group Ltd.) is celebrating their combined 125th year in family business with a
special private charter from London International Airport to Nashville, set to take flight this September.

The charter will be personally hosted by Rob & Heather Blowes, adding an extra layer of warmth and hospitality to the experience.

Having successfully operated private Boeing 737 flights from the Peterborough Airport for the past decade, BST is expanding their horizons with their unique ‘airport in a box’ concept. This innovative approach allows them to replicate the exceptional travel experience they’ve cultivated in Peterborough at any airport.

Bookings for the Nashville charter will be managed through their Stratford office, bringing convenience to interested travellers.

Starting this September

Scheduled for Sept. 26to 29, 2024, passengers will embark on a long weekend of fun in the Music City aboard a Boeing 737-800, the largest aircraft in Nolinor’s fleet, known for its superior comfort and capacity of 186 passengers.

Nolinor Aviation, a pioneer since 1992, is renowned as Canada’s largest carrier specializing in commercial charter flights.

Throughout their stay in Nashville, passengers will enjoy accommodations at three adjacent downtown hotels—AC Hotel Downtown Nashville, Residence Inn Downtown Nashville, and Springhill Suites Hotel Downtown Nashville.

All three hotels are interconnected, ensuring guests access the same amenities, including daily breakfast. BST Vacations includes airport transfers in destination and a dedicated BST Representative on each flight.

The representative will be stationed at an in-destination hospitality desk in the hotel lobby, offering assistance with any travel-related queries & requests. Passengers can also purchase excursions BST has organized to enrich their travel experience. Options include The Soul of Music City Tour, Hop On/Hop Off passes, Nashville City Tour, Jack Daniels Distillery Tour & Tasting, & a Grand Ole Opry Backstage Tour & Show.

“We are thrilled to introduce a new era of travel with our exclusive charters at London International Airport,” said Rob Blowes, Vice President of BST Vacations. “This is not your run of the mill travel experience – food and beverage are included on the outbound flight and is all locally sourced. This is part of BST’s community first initiative, where rather than outsourcing the food and beverage to the airline, we bring it on ourselves and support local businesses. Continental breakfast and in-flight meals are handpicked and made to order the morning of the flight, and beer & wine are from local distilleries and wineries. On the return flight, light snacks are included, with beer & wine available for purchase and all proceeds going back to a local charity.”

An enjoyable journey

Passengers can anticipate a stress-free and enjoyable journey, void of the typical challenges associated with larger airports, such as traffic congestion and additional expenses. The selection of London International Airport for this charter reflects BST Vacations’ commitment to preserving a personalized, smaller airport atmosphere, despite its ranking as the 12th busiest passenger airport in Canada.

“I am delighted that BST Vacations will be operating the charter to Nashville from London International Airport. We are excited to welcome this reputable program to our airport, especially considering its proven track record out of Peterborough. This collaboration is a perfect fit, and we are pleased to be adding a partner that will offer an enhanced, enjoyable travel experience for our passengers. I look forward to the success of these charters and eagerly anticipate the possibility of future collaborations with BST Vacations”, said Gerry Vanderhoek, Director, Commercial & Air Services, London International Airport.

BST Vacations is optimistic that this Nashville charter marks the beginning of an exciting chapter, hoping for widespread enthusiasm and support from the public. The success of this venture could potentially pave the way for a full charter program in 2025.
