SM+i’s Diane Alexander has accepted the role of president of SITE Canada for 2017. Alexander held the position of SITE Canada’s vice-president, Education, in 2016 and assumed the role of president-elect at the beginning of this year with plans to become president in 2018. Following the resignation of president Liz Akey, Alexander has now moved into the position of president early, a role she will uphold for the next two years.

Alexander brings a decade of industry experience to the role, including significant volunteer experience with SITE Canada. In 2012, she joined the organization as a Young Leader, volunteering on the Young Leader, Communications and Golf committees. Since then, she has held a number of positions within SITE Canada, including Young Leaders committee chair, director, Young Leaders and vice-president, Education.
