Canadian Agents Have Picked Their Favourites

Fifteen and feeling fine.

That’s how long we’ve been asking readers to choose their Canadian travel industry favourites in the Agents’ Choice Awards readership survey. And this year, 5,251 voters from across the country cast ballots, registering opinions in 28 categories.

Having introduced several new categories last year, we took a breath and stuck with the same tried and true formula this year. However, those categories produced some drama with seven new winners (25%) anointed.

The survey ran between February and April via ballots in Canadian Travel Press and Travel Courier, online at TravelPress,com, and in Quebec with our partner Flash Voyages.

Grand prize incentives this year included a trip to Tulum courtesy of TravelBrands and Bahia Principe; a $5,000 travel credit from the Globus family of brands; a trip to southeast Asia from EVA Air; and a $250 Best Buy gift certificate from Manulife.
