Carnival Challenges Agencies to ‘Amp Up’ Their Commissions

Carnival Cruise Line is giving travel agencies the opportunity to earn higher commission percentages on bookings made from Sept. 1-30 with its new “AMP Up Commission Challenge.”

The promotion offers agencies the ability to increase their commission rate up to 15% for bookings made during September by meeting targeted booking goals set by Carnival. The “AMP Up Commission Challenge” is part of the line’s popular “Travel Agents Rock” program. Registration for the promotion is open from Aug. 1-18 on GoCCL.com.

Following are the booking goals agents must reach in order to meet various commission thresholds as part of the promotion: 15% commission, 21 bookings; 14% commission, 15 bookings; 13% commission, 10 bookings; 12% commission, six bookings; 11% commission, four bookings.

During the promotion period of Sept. 1-30, all new active, fully deposited individual bookings made as well as all berthed group cabins will automatically count towards an agency’s booking goal for the “AMP Up Commission Challenge.” At the conclusion of the promotion, agencies will receive an e-mail summary of their goal achievements and increased commission level for September, if applicable.
