Carnival Helps Out

Carnival Cruise Line and parent company Carnival Corporation are providing extensive and wide-ranging relief to those affected by Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma.

In the Caribbean, Carnival ships will be delivering critical supplies throughout the region during upcoming cruises. A variety of items, including water, food, clothing, toiletries and medical supplies, are scheduled to be delivered over the next several weeks to many impacted destinations, including Grand Turk, St. Maarten (via St. Kitts), St. Thomas and Barbuda (via Antigua). The cruise line is also making plans for relief efforts to impacted Bahamian islands.

For Hurricane Harvey, Carnival Cruise Line, Carnival Corporation and the Micky and Madeleine Arison Family Foundation have donated US$2 million to support the relief and rebuilding efforts. Monies have been directed to Save the Children, Houston Food Bank, Direct Relief, Operation Homefront and United Way of Greater Houston. These organizations are providing food, water, medicine, shelter and other basic necessities to residents in the most impacted areas.
