Nanaimo-Edmonton Flights Resume In October
Direct flights between Nanaimo and Edmonton are coming back, thanks to Nanaimo Airport’s strategic business relationships and investment from WestJet. WestJet Encore will resume the service starting on Oct. 30. Flights between the two cities will run three times a week, on Mondays, Fridays and Sundays. SIA Extends YVR Services Into 2024
Singapore Airlines has announced a further extension of its services between Vancouver and Singapore, effective immediately. Singapore Airlines will operate non-stop flights from Vancouver to Singapore throughout 2023 and into 2024. Flights are available and open for sale on all the GDS platforms. This is a further extension of the SIA schedule from Vancouver that was announced earlier in the summer. To celebrate its 85th anniversary, Air Canada donated its historic aircraft, an original Lockheed L-10A Electra airplane to Winnipeg's Royal Aviation Museum of Western Canada.
