Strike Forces Lufthansa to Alter Flight Schedules
Due to a strike by the Independent Flight Attendants Organization (Ufo), Lufthansa has activated a special flight plan for today (Thursday, Nov. 7) and tomorrow (Friday, Nov. 8). The schedule will be available at https://www.lufthansa.com. Passengers are advised to check the status of their flights before heading to the airport. Tomorrow, Lufthansa says 2,300 of 3,000 planned Lufthansa Group flights will operate. On Friday, 2,400 flights will operate. Air Transat Lets The Good Times Roll
Air Transat took off to Louisiana this week, launching direct flights from Montreal to New Orleans. The new service makes it the only airline to offer a direct flight between YUL Montréal-Trudeau International Airport and Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport.
