Air Canada Reports Record Second Quarter
Air Canada has reported a record second quarter adjusted net income of $250 million or $0.85 per diluted share compared to adjusted net income of $139 million or $0.47 per diluted share in the second quarter of 2014, an improvement of $111 million or approximately 80%. For the month of July, Air Canada reported a system-wide capacity increase of 9.7% and a record system load factor of 87.3%, versus 86.7% in July 2014. El Al Israel Airlines is making an aggressive move to refresh its long-haul fleet with its largest aircraft acquisition ever.
