Air Canada has announced an agreement with BOC Aviation Limited ("BOC Aviation") for the placement of eight Boeing 737-8 aircraft. WestJet and the Aircraft Mechanics Fraternal Association (AMFA) reached a second tentative agreement in the early hours of Canada Day (July 1).
