Curaçao On Track For Big Gains In 2023
The Curaçao Tourist Board (CTB) is on track to welcome a record 525,000 visitors to the island in 2023. During the 2023 Routes Americas airline route development conference in Chicago last week, Hugo Clarinda, Deputy Director of the Curaçao Tourist Board, expressed confidence about achieving the goal, citing strong performance in the first two months of the year and promising forward bookings from hotels and airlines. Icelandair Takes Off With Winter Schedule
Icelandair has released its 2023-2024 winter schedule, increasing capacity by between 20% to 25% between North America and more than 30 destinations in Europe, compared to last winter season. Due to popular demand, Rome, Barcelona, Raleigh Durham, Baltimore, and Vancouver will increase from seasonal to year-round service. Porter Celebrates New Flights
Porter Airlines has launched three new routes between Ottawa International Airport and Boston, New York-Newark and Thunder Bay. The new routes are part of Porter’s broader expansion plan in Ottawa and its commitment to the region, including new maintenance hangars that are currently under construction at YOW. Lynx Air has added two new routes from Hamilton to Vancouver and from Toronto to Kelowna. Azores Airlines is offering up to 10 weekly flights to the Azores this summer. In addition to year-round Toronto - Ponta Delgada service, Azores Airlines will operate new non-stop service from Toronto to Terceira.
