Norwegian Joy, Norwegian Cruise Line’s (NCL) first cruise ship custom designed for China, was floated out of Meyer Werft’s covered building dock II on Saturday (March 4) in Papenburg, Germany, where the 168,800-ton ship has been under construction since September 2015. Holland America Line’s (HAL) Eurodam continues to raise the bar for cruise ships visiting the US by earning its 11th consecutive perfect score of 100 on a routine United States Public Health (USPH) inspection conducted by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
