Royal Caribbean International is making it more enticing for travellers to book a cruise with its “Vow to WOW” offer.
Through Dec. 31, travellers can get half off of the cruise fare for a second guest, booked in the same stateroom with a full-fare guest. With a 50%-reduced deposit, travellers can reserve their room from as low as $50 per guest. Guests also will receive $100 onboard credit per interior and oceanview stateroom; $200 onboard credit per stateroom with balcony; and $300 onboard credit per suite-category stateroom.

Cunard has named Richard Meadows as the new president of Cunard Line – North America. Meadows will take over his new role on Dec. 1, 2014, reporting to David Noyes, CEO of Cunard Line. As well, Meadows will retain his role as president of Seabourn.

Continuous voyages begin May 26, 2015 aboard the renovated, 148-passenger Wind Spirit.

The port handled a record 3.88 million multi-day moves and 121,321 daily moves, according to preliminary fiscal year 2014 statistics.
