Exploring Canada’s wilderness and coastal communities by expedition ship just got a little bit easier for single travellers – not to mention a little less expensive – as Adventure Canada is waiving the single supplement on three epic expeditions from now until Feb. 14,

The offer applies to the “Mighty Saint Lawrence” which sails on June 14 to June 23, 2015. It is the inaugural voyage of the 2015 season and features Quebec’s North Shore, the Gaspe, the Gulf of St. Lawrence, Magdalen Islands, and Saint Pierre. A visit to the high cliffs of Saguenay Fiord offers some of the best whale watching in Canada. The expedition also features select programming in French. Rates start at US$2,595.

The “Newfoundland and Wild Labrador” cruise – from July 5 to July 17, 2015 – combines the charm of the these two destinations and the opportunity to scan the horizon for icebergs, whales, polar bears and seals. Newfoundland’s Gros Morne provides a glimpse into ancient geology, while in Torngat Mountains National Park, the tallest mountains east of the Rockies tower over pristine Labrador coastline. Rates start at US$4,995.

The “Heart of the Arctic” itinerary – from July 17 to July 29, 2015 – features Canada’s Inuit regions of Nunavik and Nunavut to the rugged fiords of Greenland. Rates start at US$3,995.

Solo travellers can book their own private stateroom on Mighty Saint Lawrence, Newfoundland and Wild Labrador and Heart of the Arctic at no extra cost.

The offer is valid on cabin categories three to eight, subject to availability. People living at the same address and couples booking separately must book at the regular rates. It is not combinable with any other discount.
