Sunwing Vacations is increasing its flight schedule to offer a summer service from Ottawa for the first time.
Beginning May 11, the airline will operate a weekly, direct flight to Varadero, Cuba.
The introduction of the direct Ottawa-Varadero connection brings the total number of Canadian gateways available to summer travellers on Sunwing Airlines to seven. The tour operator already offers year-round vacation packages from Toronto, Montreal, Quebec, Vancouver, Edmonton and Calgary.

Air New Zealand will move to a daily return service on its Vancouver-Auckland route over the peak northern winter period between mid-December 2015 and late-January 2016.
