Superhero Sunfest Set For May
Panorama ski resort in eastern BC has unveiled an array of entertainment and events for its Superhero Sunfest weekend, April 4-6. The weekend is superhero themed and will feature a Peak to Valley charity race. This requires participants to descend the full height of the mountain, covering 4,000 vertical feet from the summit to the base, and carving through 180 giant slalom race gates. Glacier Skywalk A Rocky Mountain High
Glacier Skywalk, a barrier-free walkway and glass-floored observation deck found 280 metres over Jasper National Park’s Sunwapta Valley will open May 1 with a bird’s-eye view of ice-capped mountain peaks, glacier formed valleys and wildlife. Six interpretive stations scattered along the Discovery Trail highlight the environmental aspects of the glacial valley. Montreal-Vegas Now Daily with Air Canada rouge
Air Canada rouge has launched daily non-stop service between Montreal and Las Vegas. rouge has also entered into a partnership with Quebec’s renowned Cirque du Soleil and their Las Vegas shows and will soon be selling show tickets through the Buy Onboard program. The airline’s inaugural flight was celebrated with free tickets to Zarkana by Cirque du Soleil for everyone onboard.
