ALBERTANS TO FLY NON-STOP TO ALOHA STATE
WestJet has once again leased two Boeing 757-200 aircraft from Thomas Cook Airlines to deliver non-stop, daytime service between Calgary and Honolulu, Calgary and Maui, and between Edmonton and Maui. Pending regulatory approval, flights are scheduled to begin Dec. 13 and continue through April 26, 2014. Flights between Calgary and Honolulu will operate twice weekly, between Calgary and Maui four times weekly and between Edmonton and Maui three times weekly. Flights will be aboard Thomas Cook Airlines' 757s, with WestJet flight attendants, subject to Canadian Transportation Agency concurrence....
LINETECH ZIPLINES EDMONTON’S NEWEST THRILL RIDE
Thrill seekers are now able to zip through the air at World Waterpark at West Edmonton Mall on the world's largest permanent indoor zipline feature. Linetech Ziplines has opened a zipline over 138 metres (450-feet) in the park. The four-line system stretches from the southwest corner to the northeast section of World Waterpark, over the entire wave pool. The zipline begins approximately 18 metres (60 feet) above the wave pool and ends on a landing deck over the patrons below. The Hawaii Tourism Authority (HTA) and the Visitor Aloha Society of Hawaii (VASH) have recently launched a Safety eBrochure. This tool provides visitors, residents and industry partners with safety tips from state and county agencies to ensure safe and enjoyable travel experiences throughout the Hawaiian Islands.
