Waikiki Ocean Club is now offering PADI scuba diving instruction in the waters off Waikiki. The full introductory certification course is conducted by a PADI dive instructor. Equipment is provided and basic scuba skills are taught during a 30-minute lesson. Initially, divers will descend using the vessel's custom-built elevator to a depth of 4.6 metres to practice diving skills and to get acquainted with the equipment. An exhibit marking 100 years of service by the Canadian Scottish Regiment (Princess Mary's) in Peace and War has opened at the Royal BC Museum.
