Cathay welcomes new vice-president to Canada

Cathay Pacific Airways has announced the appointment of Cheuk Lo as vice-president, Canada where he will be responsible for the airline’s operations in Canada. He relocates to Vancouver from the headquarters in Hong Kong. Lo brings a broad range of experience to his new role. He joined Cathay Pacific in 2002 as a Revenue Analyst and later joined the Management Trainee Program. This was followed by a move to Cathay Pacific’s Bangkok office as assistant to General Manager Southeast Asia before being promoted to the role of Manager Penang, Malaysia. In 2008, he relocated back to Hong Kong and held a management position in Airline Planning, and then prior to his move to Canada, he was Manager Revenue Management Systems responsible for overseeing the continual enhancement of the revenue management system and related business and system processes.
