Celestyal Returning to Cuba on Oct. 20

Celestyal Cruises will return to Cuba on Oct. 20 for its fifth year of winter deployment, offering an all-inclusive, seven-day circumnavigation of the island.

Celestyal officials note that recent incidents exclusively involving US and Canadian diplomats, as reported in media, are entirely unrelated to tourism and currently under investigation by the governments of Cuba, the US and Canada. Safety and security at sea and on land continue to be the highest priorities of Celestyal Cruises, and the cruise line “is pleased to maintain impeccable standards while providing passengers with authentic lifetime experiences in the Caribbean.”

The visa-issuing process for all of passengers remains unchanged, and Celestyal continues to offer a People-to-People itinerary that meets current US legal requirements for a full-time program of educational and cultural exchange activities on-board and ashore.

Officials also note that post Hurricane Irma, Cuba is quickly returning to normal. There is no damage to any port facility and all cruise and shore excursion operations in Cuba are running smoothly. None of the tourism sites that are part of Celestyal’s itinerary have been affected.
