Changing The Face Of Travel

Travel Leaders Group is clearly building on its strengths, unveiling plans for a new consumer travel site that will simply be called “Vacation.”

During its international conference in Orlando, Florida, the agency group revealed that by using the completely re-purposed Vacation.com URL, Vacation will revolutionize the traveller experience – and the travel agency community – by becoming the industry’s first Perpetual Demand Generation (PDG) vehicle.

Roger Block and his executive team have spent months in research and development so they could announce, at this first TL Network International Conference, how it will continue to be used to drive a major new initiative for this fully consolidated and dynamic TL organization, reports Press Today’s Ron Pradinuk, who was on hand for the announcement in Orlando.

“Taking the URL and leveraging it in a very scientific way, I think is really going to change the face of the way travel is sold,” according to Stephen McGillivray, chief marketing officer of Travel Leaders Group.

The entire concept is based on a TL Leaders Group’s proprietary, science and data-based PDG solution, focused on nurturing the qualified prospects, before the focus moves to the acquisition stage.

The first phase of the program will concentrate on working with the over 2,000 Network agents who specialize in the vertical markets of Honeymoon travel and/or Destination Weddings.

Vacation will make these agencies substantially more successful by creating a bond between the information the potential client receives and the trust that is built with the provider of this knowledge – the TL Network.

The launch will begin this month on a Beta test, working with 25 agents selected from both Canada and the United States.

After the test is completed, TL Network will announce the further expansion of the program.

Watch for more on the TL Network’s plans in upcoming issues of Canadian Travel Press and Travel Courier.
