From world famous Cutter’s rum punch to steel drum music, it was all about Barbados last night at the Royal Canadian Yacht Club in Toronto as Siren Communications, which represents Barbados in Canada, hosted a reception for travel industry personnel.
Special guest Roger Goddard (l) of Cutter’s was on hand and presented his award-winning VSRP Rum Punch.
Officials announced the launch of Barbados Island Inclusive, a limited time offer featuring “free spending money” valid for bookings from Aug. 15 to Sept. 30 for travel up to Dec. 19. If visitors stay a minimum of five nights, they will receive US$150 per person; and on stays of seven nights or longer, they will receive US$200 per person.
And for agents, those booking five or more travellers on the “Barbados Island Inclusive” package by Sept. 30 (for travel up to Dec. 19) will earn an island vacation, and the agent will also receive a spending voucher for US$150.
Upcoming events on the island include the Barbados Food & Wine and Rum Festival. Nov. 20-23.
