Choice Hotels Canada has announced five appointments to its sales team. The move reflects the company’s commitment to providing industry-leading support to its franchisees.
Tim Oldfield, managing director, Choice Hotels Canada, said: “We’re optimizing our resources and adding new sales managers to our team to ensure that current and prospective clients find us easy to do business with.”
Building on recent momentum in the system, including 11 new hotel openings in 2014 and renovations at over 60 hotels, Choice has made significant investments, including the expansion of its sales team to include a five-person regional sales team, which will focus primarily on developing the mid-market corporate transient segment for its franchisees.
Industry veteran Vince Ambrico joins Choice as national sales manager and he will lead the Regional Sales team and assist in the development of sales support tools for Choice properties.
The newest additions to Choice’s team include:
- Dean Banister, regional sales manager, Alberta and Saskatchewan.
- Kathrin Jin, regional sales manager, Ontario.
- Nick Kammermayer, regional sales manager, British Columbia and Manitoba.
- Sylvie LaFrance, regional sales manager, Atlantic Canada.
Oldfield noted that: “Choice Canada’s properties are dedicated to providing travellers with a consistent and memorable experience that exceeds their high expectations,” Oldfield says. “We are extremely proud to reflect that commitment through the top-level talents of our growing team.”
