CIE Tours adds new Northern Spain & Portugal Tour

CIE Tours is expanding its portfolio with the debut of Northern Spain & Portugal, a new itinerary for 2027. Available on departures from February through December 2027, the 11- or 12-day itinerary travels through Spain, from Madrid to Santiago de Compostela, before crossing into Portugal, from Porto to Lisbon. Select departures will operate as small-group tours, limited to just 26 guests.

The 11- day route begins in Madrid and sweeps north through some of Spain’s most storied regions like the wine country of Rioja, the cosmopolitan energy of the Basque Country, the rugged coastline of Cantabria and Asturias, and the ancient pilgrimage city of Santiago de Compostela in Galicia. From there, the tour crosses into Portugal, winding through the port wine capital of Porto, the sun-bleached lanes of medieval Óbidos, and finally Lisbon, one of Europe’s most captivating capitals. The 12-day itinerary adds a full day of independent exploration in Lisbon via hop-on hop-off bus.

Northern Spain & Portugal is available in 11- and 12-day versions, with Sunday departures from February through December 2027. Pricing for the 11-day tour starts from $3,995 per person, double occupancy, land only, with a limited-time Early Booking Savings offer reducing the price to $3,595 – a savings of $400 per person – for bookings made through August 31, 2026.
