Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) is calling for nominations for its Hall of Fame Cruise Industry Awards – recognizing individuals and organizations whose efforts and accomplishments represent a significant contribution to the cruise industry.

Nominations are being accepted from CLIA’s membership, with the winners being announced at a gala event at CLIA’s Cruise360, the largest and only official conference of the cruise industry, June 1-6 in Vancouver.

The nominations are open to CLIA Agency and Individual Agent Members. Cruise Line members can also nominate individuals for the Lifetime Achievement Award. Awards will be given out in the following categories:

  • Travel Agency Innovator Award – Awarded to a travel agency that has demonstrated innovation in their approach to promoting the benefits and value of cruise travel.
  • Rising Star Award – Awarded to an individual travel agent who has significantly impacted the agent landscape through contributions to their agency, as well as demonstrated their commitment to professional development, with a maximum of three years cruise industry experience.
  • Lifetime Achievement Award (Hall of Fame) – Awarded to an individual from any aspect of the cruise industry who is an advocate for cruise travel and has made remarkable positive contributions to the cruise industry.

“CLIA takes great pride in celebrating and recognizing our members who have made a significant impact in the cruise industry,” said CLIA presdient Cindy D’Aoust. “Our refreshed awards program gives CLIA members an even greater opportunity to select the award recipients and we can’t wait to see who will be honored this year.”
