CLIA Postpones Cruise360

CLIA is postponing the 2020 edition of Cruise360 which was scheduled to take place in Vancouver from May 12-18.

In a statement announcing the decision, the association said, “We take our responsibility for the health and safety of our attendees and sponsors very seriously. With that in mind, it is with a heavy heart that we must delay this year’s event.”

It continues, “We are actively working with our partners in Vancouver to identify potential dates for rescheduling the event in 2020 and hope to have an update very soon.”

The association also advises that, “Exhibitors’ and sponsors’ current participation and commitments will automatically rollover to our rescheduled date. If you are unable to keep your commitment to Cruise360, we will provide an opportunity for a refund. Details on the request process will be forthcoming, and we thank you in advance for your patience as we work through the technical details necessary.”

And it added, “If you have made a hotel reservation, please reference your confirmation email and contact the hotel directly to ensure your reservation has been canceled.”

It concludes, “As our own Charles Sylvia, ECC, vice-president, membership & trade relations, said in his recent letter to our community, “While cruising may be momentarily paused, our $150 billion industry will be back… better than ever before. We will be so much stronger for what we have endured together and how we reacted to it, dealt with it, and what we learned from it.”
