Club Med Opens Sales For New DR Resort

Club Med has opened sales for its newest Caribbean resort, Club Med Michès Playa Esmeralda, a US $100 million project set to open in December 2019.

Located in the secluded paradise of Miches on the northeast coast of the Dominican Republic, this will be the very first operating resort in the soon-to-be-developed region.

At 37 hectares, Club Med Michès Playa Esmeralda is Club Med’s biggest project of its type in the Caribbean in the past 40 years.

It will be the first full Exclusive Collection resort in the Americas, acting as the new flagship of the dedicated line in the region, featuring:

A new concept to the brand’s Exclusive Collection, the resort will feature four boutique villages in order to create a more personalized, customizable and intimate experience catered to each guest.

Each village presents its own unique environment, activities and accommodations: Archipelago, a sophisticated oceanfront sanctuary exclusively for adults; Caribbean Paradise, the alluring heart of the resort, full of lush tropical gardens and colourful surprises; Emerald Jungle, a relaxing eco-chic retreat featuring Club Med’s Zen Oasis concept, an adults-exclusive escape designed with serenity, tranquility and health in mind; and Explorer Cove, a dynamic refuge specifically created for families, where the young and the young-at-heart can share and celebrate the day’s discoveries.
