Club Med Set To Open New Japan Ski Village In 2023

Club Med is set to debut its newest ski resort in Japan — Club Med Kiroro Grand – as it further establishes itself as the leading all-inclusive pioneer with 20 mountain resorts throughout the Alps, Canada and Asia.

Located in Hokkaido, Japan’s internationally renowned ski destination, this untouched mountain features white powder snow and unique ski trails that guests travel from all over the world to experience. The resort will attract families, active couples and avid skiers to discover an elevated mountain vacation featuring spring skiing until May (with 160 days of winter), along with night and off-piste skiing.

In addition to skiing and other winter sports, guests can learn more about the culture and traditions of the area through day trips to Otaru, a coastal town of Sapporo known for its glasswork, Sake and beer distilleries. Learn about the native Ainu heritage of Hokkaido by visiting their local shops that house beautifully handcrafted wood carvings and embroidered clothing. Club Med Kiroro Grand is a destination for travellers to ski impeccable trails and immerse themselves in the rich cultures and activities of the Kiroro region.

In warmer climes, Club Med Punta Cana has unveiled new renovations and extensions to its flagship Village, Club Med Punta Cana.

L’Hispaniola, the main beachfront restaurant, has been completely transformed, showcasing Punta Cana’s colourful and vibrant culture. Guests will now enjoy a variety of international flavours sure to please everyone. In addition, Club Med Punta Cana offers 90 family rooms, 48 Superior rooms and 36 Deluxe rooms, freshly renovated and specially designed for families.

The Village will also now boast a new space dedicated to weddings and a beauty salon in collaboration with renowned L’Occitane products.

In 1967, Club Med created the Mini Club Med for children aged 4 to 10. To continue its pioneering spirit in welcoming families and encouraging the development and empowerment of younger guests, Club Med is enriching its programming for teenagers with Club Med Teens (11 to 13 years old) and Club Med Chill Pass (14 to 17 years old) to offer attractive activities adapted to each age group.

New features include a modern talent show, a giant inflatable water course, a variety of sports and a pool party, guaranteeing unforgettable moments. The new program is available exclusively at Club Med Punta Cana, Club Med Michès Playa Esmeralda, Club Med Cancún and Club Med Ixtapa Pacific Villages. It will be rolled out to all destinations by 2024.
