Here Comes The Sun With ACV
Air Canada Vacations has introduced its Sun Brochure, 2016/2017 Collection, its largest sun offering to date.
The new collection includes more than 600 three- to five-star hotels and resorts – 80 of which are new to the tour operator – and vacation packages to more than 40 destinations in Mexico and the Caribbean.
Two new routes have been announced as part of the 2016 winter flight schedule – Montreal to Puerto Vallarta will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays onboard Air Canada rouge; and Halifax to Puerto Plata operating on Fridays onboard Air Canada. The 2016 winter flight schedule features service to Mexico and the Caribbean from all of ACV’s major gateways, including Halifax, Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, Winnipeg, Calgary and Vancouver.
Early planners who book their 2016/2017 winter sun escape by Aug. 31 can enjoy significant savings with Air Canada Vacations’ Early Booking Bonus. Families can save up to $800 ($250 per adult, and $150 per child ages two to 12) on travel between Nov. 1 and April 30, 2017. Those booking by Sept. 31 can save $600; and those booking by Oct. 31 can save $500.
Travellers can also take advantage of ACV’s Price Drop Guarantee. If the price drops on any winter travel packages booked by Oct. 31, Air Canada Vacations will refund travellers the difference of up to $800 cash back per couple.
More than half of the hotels and resorts included in the new Sun Brochure participate in the Privileges Program. With Privileges, ACV offers five exclusive vacation essentials: preferred room location; early check-in/late checkout; free WiFi or Internet at resort; three guaranteed à la carte dinners at all-inclusive resorts; and Aeroplan Miles.
Plus, travel agents will also enjoy a reduced deposit for clients, now only $100 down from $250, on all Air Canada Vacations winter sun packages booked by July 31.
New for 2016, ACV has reduced its group count from 10 to eight passengers, so now only eight people – kids aged two and up included in the count – can benefit from exclusive group travel offers, whether travelling as a family for fun, a wedding, or business.
Air Canada Vacations’ second annual Dream Makers product launches return this fall. Agents are invited to attend the schedule as follows: Sept. 7, Toronto; Sept. 9, Halifax; Sept. 12, Montreal; Sept. 15, Vancouver.
