CanJet Vacations is now available on Sabre Vacations.

John Kirk, CanJet Vacations’ vice-president, sales & marketing, said of the move, “We recognize the importance of also positioning ourselves on this key leisure platform, enabling agents to access CanJet Vacations flights and package holidays however they choose.”

The company is already on sale on the Softvoyage shopping platform, SIREV.

CanJet Vacations launched its new brochure to the trade two weeks ago and Kirk reports that there has been a lot of interest from agents and also many inquiries about group space.

“We are very excited about the response of the travel agency community,” said Kirk. “The addition of Sabre Vacations further broadens our reach.”

CanJet Vacations is offering flights and package holidays to points in Mexico, Cuba, the Dominican Republic and Jamaica, with departures beginning Dec. 18, 2014.

“And we would like to remind agents that we pay commission on any fuel surcharge and foreign exchange surcharge,” said Kirk. The charges are split out of the price but are commissionable to agents.

All packages feature flights from Toronto with CanJet Airlines Boeing 737-800 aircraft, serving complimentary champagne, hot meal service, bar service and inflight entertainment with complimentary headsets.

Agents can also upgrade their clients to CanJet Select and receive priority check in, complimentary seat selection, priority baggage handling and additional baggage allowance of up to 10kg per segment. CanJet Select guests also receive a Comfort Kit southbound and complimentary wine and alcoholic beverages during bar service.
