Costa Allegra being towed to the Seychelles

Costa Cruises’ Costa Allegra, crippled after an engine room fire left the ship without power, is being towed by a French fishing vessel to the main island in the Seychelles. Depending on weather conditions, it is expected to arrive late tonight or tomorrow morning. According to Costa officials, helicopters are supplying the Allegra, sister ship to the Costa Concordia, with food and comfort items. There are 636 passengers, including 13 Canadians, and 413 crew, on board. No injuries were reported.
