Costa Launches Special Single Occupancy Promotion

Costa Cruises is setting a course to make it more affordable for solo travellers to book their cruise vacation by waiving the single supplement on select cruises through December 2023.

‘Cruising Solo’ is available on dozens of sailings to a variety of locales in all cabin categories except suites, offering solo travellers 80% off the cruise fare when they take advantage of this special promotion.

Solo cruisers can explore the Mediterranean, northern Europe, Dubai and United Arab Emirates and take a transoceanic crossing. Featured itineraries are seven-night cruises and voyages ranging from 12 to 21 nights. Two of Costa’s newest ships are included in the offer — Costa Toscana and Costa Smeralda — along with Costa Diadema, Costa Fascinosa, Costa Favolosa, Costa Firenze, Costa Fortuna and Costa Pacifica.

Scott Knutson, vice president of sales and trade marketing for Costa Cruises North America, said: “Cruising on Costa offers once-in-a-lifetime travel experiences, and our promotion with a special single occupancy rate makes it even more affordable for solo travelers to book a memorable getaway.”

Knutson continued: “We invite solo travelers to create their own adventure, with countless opportunities to make new friends from around the world both on board and ashore. Or they can enjoy a relaxing getaway on their own while we pamper them, which is the beauty of a cruise.”

The “Cruising Solo” offer is capacity-controlled for a limited time.
