Croatia’s Katarina Line Unveils Last-Minute Specials

Small ship cruise company Katarina Line has announced a series of last-minute, end-of-summer specials that include a wellness focused Aug. 19 yoga cruise that explores the picturesque old towns and scenic coastlines of Dubrovnik and the Dalmatian Islands.

Prices for the one-week cruise aboard its Jadranska Kraljica start at $1,037, based on double occupancy, a saving of $58 off the regular price. Katarina Line is also offering $170 off of the Aug. 19 departure of its Deluxe Liberty vessel, which cruises the Dubrovnik-to-Split route. With the discount, prices start at $1,394 per person, based on double occupancy, subject to availability, and valid until the day of departure.

Similar savings are available on other popular routes and can be found online at http://www.katarina-line.com.

Katarina Line’s yoga cruise offers activities that focus on personal well-being, sightseeing and culinary adventures. Mornings are spent on the sundeck or onshore practicing yoga with a certified instructor, surrounded by the coastlines of Croatia and the Dalmatian Islands. Guests can follow their morning stretch with a swim in the cool waters of the Adriatic Sea.

Afternoons and evenings can be devoted to exploring the historic towns and popular attractions, discovering new cuisine and enjoying the nightlife.

Departing from Split, cruise highlights include a visit to Korčula, the birthplace of Marco Polo. The itinerary also includes a visit to the island of Hvar and Stari Grad Field, the best preserved example of the ancient Greek system of agriculture and part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site. For a change of pace, yoga sessions may be held in such “perfect spots” as Bol, a fisherman’s village on the island of Brač, off the coast of Split.
