Crystal Mozart Back On The Danube

Following a sold-out inaugural season as the “Queen of Europe’s Rivers,” Crystal Mozart is once again gracing the Danube.

The first and largest of the Crystal River Cruises fleet sailed from Vienna earlier this week on a 10-day journey through Austria, Germany, the Wachau Valley, Hungary and Slovakia, marking the start of its 2017 sailing season.

Crystal’s most valued travel partners were treated to a series of preview sailings prior to Sunday’s departure, as the company hosted 156 travel professionals aboard Crystal Mozart for back-to-back Sales Awards Galas, celebrating the top performing agents of 2016.

“Our travel partners are our most valuable assets when it comes to sharing the Crystal Experience with discerning travellers, and hosting them on board for our annual awards gala is not only a well-deserved incentive, but also helps them continue to grow their expertise with first-hand knowledge of what sets Crystal apart,” said Crystal president Edie Rodriguez.

Crystal River Cruises will expand its luxury fleet over the next two years. Launching in 2017, Crystal Bach will be the first of Crystal River Cruises’ four new luxury river yachts, followed by Crystal Mahler and in 2018, Crystal Debussy and Crystal Ravel. The new river yachts will mark Crystal’s introduction of Europe’s only all-balcony, all-suite ships in the river category.
