To help tide travellers over the coming days, the team at Crystal Cruises has created Crystal@Home — A Virtual Cruise Experience allowing visitors to continue to enjoy the Crystal Experience from the comfort of home.
From destination immersion to culinary, entertainment and wellbeing engagements, the weekly “virtual voyage” invites you to stay connected to and interact with Crystal via various platforms including live streaming events, conversations on Crystal’s social media channels, stories on the Crystal Insider blog, a re-release of Crystal Storytellers, the cruise line’s podcast guest lectures series, a #CrystalFamily hashtag, and more.
Crystal@Home debuts with Sunday Cooking with Chef Jon Ashton on April 5, at 3 p.m. EST, live on Crystal’s Facebook page. One of Crystal’s long-time culinary partners, Chef Ashton will lead guests in making his chocolaty Mini Egg Cookie recipe, a timely treat for spring.
Crystal will be reaching out to you with emails and alerts, and you can also visit the Crystal@Home web page for details. The flexible programming schedule is currently slated to include: Storyteller Monday (podcasts by guest lecturers); Tuesday Pantry Prep (to prepare for Sunday cooking); Wellness Wednesday (fitness and wellbeing series); Thirsty Thursday (cocktail recipes from Crystal bartenders); Friday Nights at the Galaxy (entertainment by Crystal favourites); and Sail Away Saturdays (guest supplied videos and photos using hashtag #CrystalFamily).
