Cuba Cruise Now Offering Passengers Travel Insurance

CubaCruise-Dec18

Cuba Cruise by Celestyal Cruises has added an additional service for passengers – the convenience of purchasing travel insurance simultaneously with their booking.

Travel medical insurance is mandatory for all visitors to Cuba and Cuba Cruise is now offering it at what it says are competitive rates “to ensure its passengers enjoy a flawless and comfortable cruise.”

The insurance is from Mondial Assistance Group and is offered at an introductory rate of $5 per person per day for eight days, or $40 for the duration of the cruise. The insurance covers Cuba Cruise passengers both on board the Celestyal Crystal, on Cuban soil, in Cuban waters, and in Jamaica. The premium is non-refundable.

Mondial is one of the few insurance companies accredited by Asistur and is licensed to sell insurance policies to travellers to Cuba.

“Our goal is to provide our guests with an authentic Cuban experience, but also to provide them with the most carefree, seamless, value-for-money experience possible,” said Kyriakos Anastassiadis, CEO of Celestyal Cruises. “Our provision of travel insurance from Mondial means our passengers can now purchase everything they need for our cruises, from shore excursions and all-inclusive drinks packages to travel insurance, directly from Cuba Cruise.”
