Cunard Delivers White Star Service to Top Agents
Cunard recently deployed life-size cardboard cut-outs of James the Bellman to top-producing travel agents in North America to acknowledge their support of Cunard, celebrating the cruise line’s legendary 175 years at sea.
Gracious, charming and always ready to help, James the Bellman epitomizes White Star Service, and travel agencies are enthusiastically displaying their James cut-outs in their storefronts and inside their offices to demonstrate the true meaning of White Star Service.
“Our James the Bellman is getting a lot of attention from our clients,” said Sue Countryman, cruise consultant at Just Cruises, Inc. “He’s a perfect conversation starter to Cunard’s White Star Service and enrichment offerings, and it has helped build overall brand awareness in our office and to our clients.”
Photo highlights include James assisting with luggage at AAA Travel in Wilmington, N.C., delivering flowers to Just Cruises, Inc. in Rochester, N.Y., providing a White Star welcome outside South Travel, Inc. in Calgary, and lending a hand with early-morning calls at Adventure Travel in Birmingham, Ala.
“We are thrilled with the feedback we have received from our James the Bellman standee,” said Stanley Birge, vice-president, Cunard, North America. “Agencies are getting very creative with how they would utilize White Star Service in their everyday lives. It’s the White Star Service commitment to far exceed our guests’ expectations that makes for the most enjoyable, memorable and luxurious experience on board our world renowned ocean liners.”
