Dallas set to raise the Canadian flag

NorthPark Center, Dallas’ premier shopping destination, has partnered with five of the area’s top hotels and attractions to honour the Canadian market with the launch of “Canada Appreciation Month.”For the month of February, NorthPark and partners will raise Canadian flags and offer enticing “shop and stay”packages exclusively for Canadians. “Each year we receive an increasing number of visitors from Canada and we wanted to show our appreciation for their support and make them feel special,”said Anthony Wilkinson, director of tourism, NorthPark Center. Participating hotel partners include The Adolphus, Warwick Melrose Hotel, Four Seasons Resort & Club, Rosewood Crescent Hotel and Rosewood Mansion On Turtle Creek. Packages include special accommodation rates, some with breakfast included, welcome amenity, and US$50 in NorthPark gold shopping coins. Depending on the individual property, visitors may also receive valet parking and free admissions to area attractions (some including transportation) such as the Dallas Museum of Art. Dallas Convention & Visitors Bureau is also showing their appreciation with some of the top attractions in Dallas on board to provide special offers and deals for Canadians during February. When Canadian guests check in at partner hotels, they will be given a list with all participating attractions and offers. NorthPark Center is the largest shopping center in North Texas and includes such name brand stores as Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Barneys New York, Macy’s and Dillard’s.
