DCI Agency of Record for Chile Tourism
Chile Tourism has announced that Development Counsellors International (DCI) has been selected as Agency of Record for the destination’s tourism promotion in Canada and the United States.
DCI will handle public relations and marketing initiatives throughout North America, with an integrated travel trade and media relations campaign to drive tourism growth and raise Chile’s profile as a leading travel destination in South America.
“The North American market is a key strategic priority for our international tourism promotion,” said Andrea Wolleter, Global Market Manager, Chile Tourism. “We are thrilled to be partnering with DCI, the leader in marketing places, to showcase Chile’s rich tourism offering in the United States and Canada.”
Spring O’Brien handled public relations for Chile Tourism from 2012 to 2014.
“Our collaboration with Spring O’Brien in recent years has expanded awareness of Chile’s offering in the North American market, and we look forward to building on this foundation in the years to come,” Wolleter said.
Chile attracted more than 180,000 North American travelers in 2013.
Development Counsellors International is the leader in marketing places. Since 1960, DCI is headquartered in New York City and has offices in Toronto, Denver and Los Angeles.
