DELTA OPENS KINGSTON WATERFRONT HOTEL

Delta Hotels and Resorts has opened the Delta Kingston Waterfront Hotel in Kingston, Ont., following an extensive $10 million renovation to completely revamp the property, showcasing Delta’s reinvigorated brand through modern design and innovation. The newly repositioned hotel will deliver the city’s first four-star upscale, full-service hotel. “We are excited to bring Delta’s four-star upscale hotel experience to one of the best locations in Kingston,”said Ken Greene, president and CEO, Delta Hotels and Resorts. “The property’s prime waterfront and downtown location is what sets it apart from the competition, and the renovation has repositioned the hotel as a product leader in the local marketplace. We are thrilled to offer our guests one of the most modern, innovative and thoughtfully designed hotels in the city.”The Delta Kingston Waterfront hotel boasts 126 ModeRoom guest rooms and suites; a completely redesigned lobby and the creation of an open space business area featuring a series of interactive, fully connected work hubs and lounge areas; and 450 square metres of newly revamped meeting and conference space. The onsite restaurant, AquaTerra by Clark, was also fully renovated to include multi-functional and flexible spaces, which offer panoramic waterfront views. The hotel is Delta’s ninth property in Ontario, with new hotels also scheduled to open in Waterloo, Thunder Bay and Toronto. Delta Hotels and Resorts currently has 39 properties across Canada.
