Dec. 2 will see Air India will launch non-stop service between San Francisco and its Delhi hub in India’s capital.

The flights will operate three times a week – Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday – with Boeing 777-200LRs. Flying time for the new San Francisco-Delhi flights will be 16 hours and five minutes, which Air India says is a full 3.5 hours faster than any other airline from the US west coast.

For passengers traveling beyond Delhi to India’s technology or commercial centres, Air India offers fast connecting service to Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, and Mumbai, as well as to other major tourist destinations across India.
