In partnership with strategic destination partners across Canada, Anderson Vacations is offering up to 30 top travel agent or tour operator partners the opportunity to travel to one of several unique Canadian destinations with its annual Canada Megafam. Agents will experience the breathtaking landscapes and rich diversity of Canada with small groups of like-minded top travel professionals, as they travel to either British Columbia, Alberta, Newfoundland, Labrador, Ontario, or Quebec. These small groups will not only socially be able to share their megafam experiences with clients and friends back home, but also post to the megafam-generated hash tag in a competition that will be awarded during the “Grand Finale” evening. For every Canada and Alaska individual passenger booking made this year (up to Aug. 10), agents receive one ballot into the draw for megafam attendance. Additional chances to win include submitting a 60-second video (or less) that demonstrates why you love Canada or by sending a photo of your 2015 window display showcasing that you are supporting the sale of Canadian product. Anderson will select four entries through its video/photo/Facebook promotion to win their way on to the fam program. Upload videos and photos to Anderson’s Facebook page with the #AndersonMEGAFAM. Videos and photos must be received no later than Aug. 10.
Onkar Travels has India fam trips in September. The company says it strives to make the tours “fun-filled and educational, while you visit a country of wonders filled with palaces, drenched in history and culture, tradition and rituals.” The North India Tour of six days will cover Delhi, Jaipur, Agra and Fatehpur Sikri. The South India Tour of seven days will cover Cochin, Munnar, Thekkady, Alleppey, and Kumarakom. Since the tours follow one another, agents can book themselves on both. The cost for the land package is $630 for North India, $790 for South India and $1,420 for both. For bookings, contact Jasveet Singh, by e-mailing email@example.com or phoning 905-897-0700, ext. 114 or 124.
