Crystal Cruises has brought back its popular “Sell 3/Sail Free” and “Sell 6/Sail PH” incentive programs for agents. The promotions reward agents selling three staterooms on any of the 2017 World Cruise segments with a complimentary voyage for two; and those selling six staterooms with luxurious Penthouse accommodations for their voyage. Agents can choose to sail on Crystal Symphony and Crystal Serenity voyages from April-December 2017, excluding Holiday sailings.
Exclusive tour operator for RIU Hotels & Resorts, Signature Vacations has launched a new incentive in partnership with the hotel chain for summer bookings for stays at either Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas or Riu Santa Fe in Los Cabos, Mexico, through Oct. 31. All new bookings made to either property during the “Earn and Win” incentive that runs through July 15 will earn agents a bonus 4% commission, plus four times the usual number of RPC (Riu Partner Club) Points. In addition, each booking an agent makes will also qualify for a chance to win an all-inclusive trip for two to Riu Santa Fe in Los Cabos courtesy of Signature Vacations.
Two of Hawaii’s most prominent hospitality entities have each launched a sweepstakes that gives agents a chance to win a seven-day vacation to Hawaii. Each entry also unlocks a promo code for 15% off any vacation. Until Aug.10, people can enter for the chance to unwind with a free trip to Hawaii. Those who don’t win will still receive 15% off new reservations just for entering. The winner receives a seven-night stay voucher valid at any eligible Aqua or Lite Hotel in Hawaii. And from now until Aug 10, people can enter for a chance to win a free stay at an Aston Hawaii hotel or resort. For entering, they’ll receive the special Ohana rate typically reserved for local residents.
G Adventures has extended its agent incentive program by two months. Dubbed G-Normous Encore, the campaign runs through July 31 and includes even more cash prizes, trips with airfare, as well as a one-year VIP air lounge pass. For every client booked, regardless of travel date, agents will receive a chance to win. Bookings prior to June 1 do not qualify for G-Normous Encore. All agents with a G Adventures Sherpa account are automatically registered. Agents without a Sherpa account must register at www.gadventures.com/Sherpa through their agency manager.
The agent who books the highest number of travellers will win a G Adventures trip with airfare; $750 will be awarded to the agent that books the most repeat travellers. The North American agent who books the most summer travellers (on departures before July 31) will receive $500. A one-year VIP air lounge pass will be awarded to the North American agent that books the most travellers with air. The incentive will be paired with a number of consumer offers ranging from 10% to 20% off a variety of tours when booked by July 31 for travel by Dec. 15.
Globus and Cosmos have introduced a number of special deals for agents and their clients on select group itineraries to Britain, Europe and Hawaii departing this fall. All agents have to do is make the group booking by July 14. While the companies’ usual policy is group benefits and pricing starting at eight passengers, during the promotion the eighth person will travel free. Additionally, agents booking a group on any of the featured departures will receive a $250 gift card as a thank you. Selected departures of a total of 18 Cosmos and five Globus Britain and Europe itineraries are eligible, as well as two Globus Hawaii itineraries.
Goway has launched a new travel agent incentive to win a trip to Papua New Guinea. For each booking on any of Goway’s Holidays of a Lifetime series, agents will receive one entry into a Grand Prize draw. Those booking the Discover Papua New Guinea tour will get three entries. KLM is giving Canadian travel agents the chance to win two pairs of flight tickets to Europe. Once registered, every KLM booking departing or arriving from Montreal, Toronto, Calgary, Vancouver and Ottawa is automatically given one entry into the “Edmonton-Amsterdam nonstop KLM Contest,” whereas tickets to and from Edmonton receive double the entries. Chances of winning the first prize of two KML flight tickets in World Business Class and the secondary prize of two Economy tickets for flights to any European KLM destination increase with every flight sold. Auto Europe is extending its “One Free Day of Car Rental for Travel Agents” awards program with every client booking in 2015. These Free Day Coupons can be redeemed for car rental services for the agent’s personal use in Europe or redeemed against any current promotion that Auto Europe may be offering. In addition, agents can take advantage of hugely discounted rates by up to 50% off car rental services for their own use at any of the locations that Auto Europe services worldwide. Prestige/Sports car rental services, Chauffeur services and Mercedes Benz rentals saving up to 50% off rates may vary and is dependent upon the location of the rental. The One Free Day Car Rental Coupon is earned by the booking agent and cannot be transferred.
Goway has negotiated special travel agent rates on some Africa tours. They are valid throughout 2015 and in some cases the agent rate is reduced by more than 50%. Also on offer are partner rates if the agent wishes to take a non-industry companion, or special single rates if they are travelling solo. The idea is that once agents experience the destinations, the “Goway way,” they will be completely confident in recommending them to their clients. As an example, the agent rate for Goway’s eight-day Essential Kenya is $1,370, compared to the regular selling price of $3,456. For the Essential Tanzania Safari, agents pay $1,255, compared to the normal selling rate of $3,230.
Toronto’s International Plaza Hotel + Conference Centre Toronto Airport reports that for every 10 stopover rooms an agent books, he or she will receive a complimentary room night, including parking. Those interested must book a stopover rate for clients. The rates are $119 a night with parking and $109 a night without parking. The hotel has a complimentary airport shuttle service. Rates are commissionable at 10% and valid through December. Blackout dates may apply. Complimentary room nights can be redeemed up to April 30, 2016.
To thank travel agents for their loyalty, Hertz has launched the “Hertz Agent Gold Rewards” program – a loyalty program designed to reward agents for the value they bring to the car rental company. Agents simply enroll at www.hertzagentgold.com to receive a unique “AGR” number which they can include in the appropriate GDS field when booking. Each qualifying rental of three days or more earns 10 points which are banked in the agent’s personal Agent Gold Rewards Account. Points can be redeemed for a variety of reward choices including gift cards, items for the home or office, event tickets, as well as free car rental day certificates. There are also opportunities throughout the year to earn bonus points.
