KapohoKine Adventures is inviting visitors to Hawaii Island (the Big Island) for its Farm, Fork & Fire program.

After an educational tour and tasting at the Hamakua Mushrooms farm, guests pack up the mushrooms needed for that evening’s dinner and continue on to the Volcano Winery. Here, guests get a behind-the-scene look at the tropical fruit grown to create specialty Hawaiian wines and teas, including tastings.

Then it is off to the Volcano House restaurant, where the executive chef incorporates the mushrooms in a private cooking demonstration for the evening’s menu. Following dinner is a tour of Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, featuring the crater’s red glow at sunset. The price of US$189 per person includes roundtrip transportation from Kona, lunch and dinner.
