Porter Airlines officials are supporting a proposed US Customs Preclearance initiative for Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport.

Porter president Robert Deluce released the following statement yesterday supporting an announcement by the Canadian and US governments that Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport is a priority location for US Customs Preclearance.

“Porter has supported US Customs Preclearance at Billy Bishop Airport for some time. As the sixth-busiest airport in Canada for US departures, this service will benefit more than 400,000 Porter passengers travelling to the US each year through Billy Bishop.”
