Ritz-DE-May20

The Ritz-Carlton, Kuala Lumpur recently celebrated its official relaunch following a complete refurbishment.

Originally opened in 1997, the 364-room property is a longtime magnet for international celebrities, cultural icons, political figures and luxury travellers.

Malaysia’s first all-butler hotel is located in Kuala Lumpur’s Golden Triangle district and features spacious guest rooms and suites, award-winning cuisine, Spa Village Kuala Lumpur and daily afternoon tea.

The refurbishment keeps the hotel true to its traditional roots, but creates a more contemporary vibe, designed by New York-based Champalimaud Design. It introduces the library as a new space for the hotel with wood panelling and floors, creating a warm and welcoming ambiance.

Spa Village Kuala Lumpur boasts a new Sensory Sound Bath Room, which is the only one of its kind in Asia, complementing the host of wellness facilities and treatments available at this multiple award-winning spa.

YTL Hotels continues to grow its portfolio of Ritz-Carlton hotels with upcoming plans to open The Ritz-Carlton, Koh Samui in Thailand and a Ritz-Carlton Reserve in Japan.
